Where to eat at Hull’s Fruit Market
Fancy a bite to eat? From fine dining to something to grab and go, head down to the Fruit Market and discover some of the city’s newest and best places to eat.
Tapasya @ Marina
Experience fine dining with an Indian twist in the heart of Hull. Tapasya is a new addition to the Fruit Market area and is already a popular choice.
Their menu features traditional Indian dishes made with the finest local ingredients to create an ever-evolving dining experience.
The new eatery not only serves interesting dishes but does so in a striking and unique environment overlooking Hull’s stunning marina. Tapasya @ Marina is a fitting addition to the city’s cultural and creative village and is sure to get your tastebuds tingling.
Comforting, home-cooked meals are dished out all day, every day at Humber Street diner, Thieving Harry’s. And with great views over the marina and a cosy, eclectic interior, it’s the perfect place to kick back with some of the best coffee in the city.
The food is unpretentious and always filling and flavoursome. Surprising daily specials partnered with their crispy double-cooked fries and their famous gooey grilled cheese sandwiches are always a great lunchtime go-to.
If you’re looking for something a little more indulgent, be sure to order their burgers – definitely one of the best in Hull!
If you’re after somewhere a little more ‘upmarket’, 1884 Dock Street Kitchen may be more your style. This elegant, glamorous restaurant is the ideal location for a more grand affair.
Hull’s award-winning fine dining experience offers exquisite market menus as well as a weekly 2 or 3-course Sunday roast. Pair this with beautiful views across the marina and surrounding cobbled streets, and 1884 makes for an impressive option.
“Light bites and naughty nibbles”
If you find yourself in the Fruit Market area and you’re looking for something a little lighter, make sure you check out Nibble. Their sausage rolls and scotch eggs are always a winner!
They’re also ahead of the game with their breakfast menu. Whether you’re after a cooked breakfast, bagels with fresh salmon or the perfect sausage sandwich, they’ve got it all.
What makes it even better is that everything is made fresh to order. Lovely!
As Hull’s Fruit Market continues to grow, we welcomed new bistro Butler Whites to the community last Summer.
Its cool, industrial style fits perfectly with the look and feel of the neighbouring businesses. While its unconventional menu adds to the vibrancy of the area.
Diners can choose to indulge in their ever-changing set menus, or opt for their boards of artisanal cheese and charcuterie. Or even indulge in their handmade pizzas covered in delicious locally sourced toppings.
